| Wednesday took us 100 miles north to the Grand Canyon for an exciting helicopter ride. The drive to get there was beautiful, winding up through the Oak Creek Canyon, pictured at left.

| On Thursday we left Sedona for good, deciding at the last minute to head up to Las Vegas for the night. We passed through the Hoover Dam on a scorching hot afternoon. |
